shall we dance: jinky oda eliminated

in lucy torres-gomez's birthday episode, the three remaining comedians battle it out for a slot in the finale of the 2nd batch of this season of shall we dance: the search for the next dance superstar. all three numbers are inspired by movie themesongs.

first up was candy pangilinan. she did a moulin rouge inspired number with the song lady marmalade. the number was okay with nice moves and some injection of humor. but the judges felt that the ballroom steps was quite easy and they expect more from candy.

next on the stage was stand up comedian chokoleit. his number was inspired by the movie kung fu panda with the song kung fu fighting. they had a good routine and they had great partnership. the judges thought that they had good energy and they connected well. but they expected a more serious dance next time to show chocolate's capabilities as a bal;lroom dancer.

last up was comedian and whitening pill endorser jinky oda. their number is inspired by the hit movie dreamgirls with the song and i am telling you i am not going. she was a bit stiff at some points and they were sometimes offbeat. they even struggled at their last pose. the judges think that the routine was good but she was holding back a bit.

when the scores were in, it was again chokoleit's team that got the highest score of 8.50, followed by the pair of candy pangilinan with a score of 8.33. jinky oda and her partner got the lowest score of 7.50 and got eliminated. chokoleit and candy will battle it out next week for the chance to join joseph bitangcol in the finals of the show.
