chev macias, the "bisayang palaban" from iloilo city, became the first cast away eliminated from survivor philippines. she was eliminated from the naak tribe, where her tribemates voted unanimously against her; with 8 votes going against her. a former gro, chev exhibited true diligence, patience and great fighting spirit in the 3 days she spent in the island.
her confessional after the elimination was equally controversial as she is. she said to her tribemates; "i hate you all..."
she guested yesterday in gma 7's showbiz talk show, showbiz central. asked if she felt betrayed by her tribe after the elimination, chev immediately answered "of course..."
she was also asked to name the cast away that was deserving to be eliminated instead of her and she named jc tiuseco, the basketball hunk who asked to be replaced in the middle of the immunity challenge.
paolo bediones, the host of survivor philippines, joined her late in the interview to better explain her actions in the show. chev also mentioned that her crush amongst the male cast aways is gigit, the web designer / mountaineer from quezon city.
